Today a bombing went off towards the end of the finish line of the Boston Marathon which is a terrible terrible thing. I want to say that everyone involved in helping out we are truly grateful for and we are praying for all of those affected, whether injured or know someone who was there. That's all I will really say about that, because I hate stuff like that though.
I did make a slight joke about it which is probably too soon, but I honestly hate when everyone gets all sentimental about it I DONT KNOW. I tweeted "But the Red Sox won!" and I got shit for it. Give me shit for it if you're up there helping people out, not just sitting at home watching the news, that doesn't do any good for anyone. But seriously...its a good thing for the city that the Red Sox did win and hopefully they do win their next couple of games to help bring morale of the city up.
The attack, doesn't make any sense to me. The Boston Marathon is a big deal and large event which is the only thing that is any bit logical about the attack. Being that it was multiple explosions you have to figure that someone knew what they were doing to get this done, so maybe some sort of military or a terrorist group. All in all though I don't think it is that hard nowadays, with the internet, to make a bomb. Dissection: The attack happened at the end of the race towards the finish line, which is poor placement for the people that were looking to seriously harm or injure people. You have to figure that the finish line probably has the most paramedics due to the fact that people are just finishing a freaking marathon and might faint collapse and need to be checked out etc etc. Also why not the start? The start of the race is so compact and dense with people that it would harm so many more without immediate help. Whereas the finish line may have spectators but not as many runners being its pretty easy to split up over 26.2 miles.
End of the day those who did it should be punished, make them run a marathon and then blow them up :p
